WSC client Care Academy has just secured $20,000,000 in funding to expand its efforts to upskill healthcare providers.
“Helen Adeosun, CareAcademy CEO and Founder, and Asahi Pompey, Global Head of Corporate Engagement at Goldman Sachs and President of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, discuss CareAcademy’s $20 million strategic funding round on Bloomberg TV’s ‘The Close,’ June 7, 2022. The round was led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management as part of its One Million Black Women initiative.”
The Goldman Sachs program aims in part to reduce the earnings gap for black women in the US, with a long-range vision to create more jobs and increase the US GDP.
So so proud to have had a small part in CA’s early days, helping build their first round of eLearning courses. It makes our hearts warm to see their continued success and positive impact on marginalized communities and front-line health workers.
“We wouldn’t be the company we are without your work. Hugely grateful for your contributions!” – Mindy Wallis, Instructional Designer, CareAcademy
