My process is straightforward and iterative.
Define, Understand, Prototype, Produce.
Define
We start with the character-driven story system.
- Who is your audience?
- What is their aspiration?
- What stands in their way?
- How will your project help them overcome those challenges and achieve their aspiration?
- How will this change their lives?
If we can’t answer those questions, it may be too soon to start.

Understand
- Review existing assets.
- Establish structure or outline.
Prototype
- First pass for review. Iterate until sound.
Produce
- Deliver in progress milestones for review and signoff.
- Final round of revisions.
- Deliver final manuscript.
